I believe it is better to have possibility to give them names (Pete, Nick , Mary.). http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001APH9GW/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_imgComfortable, easy to use, REALLY noise canceling.IMHO, only one small disadvantage: all speed dial #-s are marked as #5, #6, #7 an so on.
I called support again and was on hold for almost an hour before the line went dead. Time to return it and buy a different brand. I recently ordered this headset for my manager based on the reviews seen here. Then all I got was a busy signal. The device constantly drops the connection to the phone (Samsung BlackJack II). I called tech support the first time it happened and all they did was help me reconnect it but it dropped the connection again within hours.
If you say call home,it responds by saying call speed dial 8. I will be contacting the manufacture to notify them of this problem. Not happy with it. The same for call favorite. You say one command and it does something other than the command that you request. I will be going back o my plantronic headset. You get feedback when you are talking on it. Also, does not respond to voice commands.
Easy to use, great quality, voice activation is very useful. The best piece I've ever tried.
The best feature of this headset is the ability to answer and ignore calls with just your voice so their is no need to always have to reach for the answer button like on other bluetooth headsets. The blueant v1 brings the power of jawbone of voice isolation with voice control. Other than that small complaint the v1 is just as good if not better than the jawbone in voice isolating technology. Overall the only complaint I have is that the voice isolation turned up to max produces some interference with feedback but is only noticeable to the caller and not the one you are calling. The v1 does an excellent job of isolating one's voice so that those on the receiving end can hear loud and clear. On the caller's end the voice was loud and clear as well with no interference until the voice isolation was turned up to the max but that is the drawback of having two microphones in the headset as their will be feedback when the isolation is turned up to max but it is only on the caller's side and not the receiver's end which is a plus as those that you are talking to will not realize that the voice isolation was turned on to max.
